1ps Skew Matched, Phase Stable Cable Assemblies, d047 Series

Newberg, OR, January 17, 2017

D-COAX, Inc. has introduced ≤ 1ps skew matched, phase stable and high performance 0.060-inch (0.047-inch replacement) flexible coaxial cable assemblies through 40GHz. The new type of bend relief, “free-bend”, allows for tighter bends.  Low weight cable assemblies reduce the moment-arm force in delicate probing applications and overall weight of the test setup.

The standard assemblies deliver excellent return loss and low insertion loss.

Cable Pairs are ideal for:

  • Signal Integrity
  • Channel Modeling
  • Jitter Measurements
  • BERT
  • Differential Measurements
  • VNA measurements
  • Replacement for semi-rigid cable

Probe Station, configurable probe postions

Newberg, OR, December 10, 2015

D-COAX, Inc. has introduced a reconfigurable probe station for testing a wide range of devices with many types of probes.  The probe holders can be moved and adjusted for short to tall devices and for probes that need to be positioned at an angle or with orthogonal layouts.

Testing can be done in front of the instrumentation because of a small foot print and allows shorter test cables to be used and more bench space for high performance equipment set-ups. TDR, VNA, 4-wire Probes work well with this probe station on wafers and small package devices because a combination of adjustability of the coarse and fine movements in X, Y, Z directions.  The Model W4.0 X L6.5 probe station has a Z movement digital readout for repeatable probe touch-downs and a vacuum chuck for wafers or other devices.

High Performance Cable Assemblies with Free Data Included for Modeling

Newberg, OR, May 06, 2015:

D-COAX, Inc. has announced that all purchased cable assemblies include free electrical data.  All D-COAX cable assemblies are 100% tested using VNA and include s2p, tab, and bmp files.  High performance flexible coaxial cable assemblies are available through 65GHz in singles and cable pairs. The standard assemblies deliver excellent return loss and low insertion loss.  D-COAX has also added a “live chat” feature to help with questions real time.

These cable assemblies are ideal for:

  • Signal Integrity
  • Chanel Modeling
  • Jitter Measurements
  • BERT
  • Differential Measurements
  • VNA measurements
  • Replacement for semi-rigid cable

High Frequency PCB Probe (44 GHz)

NEWBERG, OR, April 20, 2015:

High Frequency PCB Probe (44 GHz) D-COAX, Inc. has introduced high performance TDR – VNA Probe assemblies through 44GHz in the 2 configurations in the greater metropolitan area of Portland Oregon.

Testing for small discontinuities on non-planar PCBs is now possible on a 40GHz VNA or very fast TDR because of the durable and repeatable probe design.

The probes deliver excellent uncorrected return loss and low insertion loss.  The OmniJet probe 40 GHz insertion loss is better than -1.5dB and the return loss is better than -10.0dB at 40GHz.

Cable Builder Tool

NEWBERG, Oregon May 1, 2014

D-COAX has recently launched a new Cable Builder tool which can be accessed from the Semi-Rigid or Flexible Assemblies pages under the Products page. The Cable Builder tool guides the customer through the process of specifying the assembly’s desired performance, as well as, dimensional specifications. The customer can also upload the specification drawing instead of filing out the specification fields in the Cable Builder tool.  After completing the form just hit submit and one of our trained staff members will contact you with the information you requested. Visit the Cable Builder page here.
